Once again we have the time of year where the good football fans begin making plans for one of the biggest games of the Spanish League calendar. This year is a little different because both teams have increased their staff and the two are at the top of the table. No prizes for guessing we’re talking about one of the great games this season: Barcelona vs Real Madrid. Yes, The Classic is here!

The first match up this season will take place at the Camp Nou in Barcelona on 29 November and, as always, promises to be an exciting match.

At this time the Barcelona is the current leader with a one point advantage and despite struggling to win the Champions League, Barca’s form does not seem to be causing you to suffer in the league.

Real Madrid, by contrast, are just one point behind Barcelona, has struggled with form and style of play due to rotation that Manuel Pellegrini has put in place, although after the last two good games seem to Pellegrini settle for the same formula.

We do not know if CR9 (Cristiano Ronaldo) will play, as it still drags his ankle injury. After his trip to Holland has been told he needs more rest, but does not require an operation.

Whatever happens, Real Madrid do not need to trust the Portuguese star and other players like Kaka and Benzema seem to play well together at this time and Gonzalo Higuain seems to have become their talisman.

Like every year, The Classic will attract huge crowds to the game. If there any match that people can not lose, it is this game. The emotions aroused are usually very strong and this year is no different.

Will the winning team of triplet beat Guardiola “New Galacticos” Florentino in the first attack, or is it vice versa? Did you see another battle between Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo? Run to grab the best spot!
